Week 11
This week we have been talking about spring and Easter. The children have helped plant our potatoes so we are hoping for a bumper crop this summer!
We have also been doing lots of artwork around our rainforest topics and the children have made red eyed tree frogs, parrots with hand prints and next week will be doing some paper weaving of crocodiles.
In literacy the children have written a non chornological report about an animal of their choice and a persuasive letter about why they should be protected.
In maths Year 1 are continuing their topic of measure, capacity and Year 2 are working with fractions.
Next week is our last week before the Easter holidays and our last day in school is Thursday.
