Father’s day cards
This week the children have been busy making cards to give to their special person on Sunday. Rolling marbles in different coloured paints they made individual paintings to go on the front. Inside children were encouraged to write their name or make marks on the paper.
Water play activities this week included washing babies, under the sea creatures, corks and teapots and cups. Enjoying the experience of water play the children transported items from one area to another. Transporting (schema) can be the urge to carry many things in your hands at one time, in jars, in bucket and baskets, or even better containers with wheels. The children make choices and develp independence during these child led activities.
