26.4.19 DASP Recorders - Musicianship Programme

Sharks class had their first recorder lesson today with Mrs Trevorrow. All children have been given a recorder to keep for the duration of the music program. These are allowed to come home so the children can share with you what they have learnt. All recorders MUST come back to school on a Friday ready for our music lessons.
For our first lesson the children were introduced to many different types of recorder and were shown some pieces where recorders were used. The children were shown the parts of the recorder and how to blow them gently ... (so they sound tuneful!) Todays lesson we learnt the B note and played together with the piano for backing.
