WEEK 11

What fantastic weather we had for our Sports Day this year and thank you for coming to support the children in their races. They have all worked so hard during their PE lessons with Ms Moore to learn the Haka and practise their running, throwing and hurdling skills. They all thoroughly enjoyed themselves, especially watching the grown ups get covered in water and eating their ice-lollies!!

During outdoor learning on Thursday, the children explored the wildlife garden, played in the mud kitchen and made crowns by sticking natural materials on to their bands.

We have revisited the story 'Superworm' by Julia Dondaldson, to get some inspiration for writing about our own minibeast superheros, their special powers and how they use them to help people and animals.

In maths, we have continued to build the children's knowledge and understanding of addition and subtraction.

Please remember that next Tuesday is our Minibeast Day and Parent Exposure. The children are welcome to come into school dressed up as their favourite minibeast for the day.
