Week 10
This week Blossom children have enjoyed a firm favourite book of the week ‘The Smartest Giant In Town’. They have been busy completing lots of giant themed activities alongside some giant dressing up! The children started the week by trying on the different clothes the giant wears thought out the story, loving how large each item was compared to them! As well as dressing up the children have enjoyed using a range of different media’s to create their very own giant and animal paintings. Later on in the week the children enjoyed their weekly PE lesson. Here they showed their fabulous listening and ball skills, carefully and skilfully moving their balls around the hall without bumping into one another. They children have been busy with their fine motor activities using the tap tap to make their own giants, ensuring they had a body, 2 legs, 2 arms and a head. All of the Blossom children have listened brilliantly to their sound of the week which has been ‘G’. They have identified different words which begin with this sound.
