Week 10
Our Story of the Week was Dear Earth, we spoke about what we would write in our letter to Earth and spoke again about what things we could do to help our Earth. We looked at 2D shapes and spoke about their names & characteristics. We had a go at creating symmetrical patterns using 2D shapes. Children understood that symmetrical means the same and enjoyed using a mirror. Using magnetic letters, children found the letters needed to write their names. Children practised writing their name using cotton buds and paint. They followed the line of each letter. We had lots of fun outside this week on the climbing Frame, slide, bikes and scooters.
This week was also transfer day, the older Pre School children really enjoyed their time with Mrs Rogers and Mrs Hallet and are very much looking forward to starting school in September.
