Today was our harvest festival assembly where we said prayers and sang a song that we wrote in Silver Birch Class called “Thank You For Our Food” . Everyone was nervous but it worked out well . Most of our parents came and at the end everyone could buy some fruit or vegetables. All the preschool and reception children and the year 1 and 2 children sang a song about harvest time. Everyone found it fun, even though they were nervous! We sang a lot of songs that Mrs Horne wanted us to sing too. Afterwards, all the children went back to their classrooms and that’s when the adults got to buy the things that people had brought in. Some people brought  in apples , pumpkins , eggs and flowers . It was packed with people! Everyone had a great time!
