Week Beginning 27th April

Dear Sharks Class,

Let me start by saying a big happy 9th birthday to Grace and Elsa from all of us! They both had a lovely day and you can see a few of the things they got up to below. Thank you for all your lovely emails and pictures this week. We have chosen a selection to share. Despite the rain, lots of you have still managed to get out and about, keeping active and having fun. There are plenty of budding gardeners, cooks, artists and den builders amongst us! And you have still found time to fit in some school work which is fantastic. The Anglo Saxon work has really caught your imagination and creativity, with several examples of impressive reproduction artifacts being made. By the time we get back to school, we're hopeful that lots of you will be times table ninjas, with plenty of reports of lots of practise and use of TTRockstars by many. Reading and spellings have also been high on the agenda for many of you, which is all great learning. We are keeping our fingers crossed for less rain next week, but as Mollie has pointed out, there's no such thing as bad weather! She's been making the most of it by doing a spot of marble painting in the puddles! Enjoy the weekend Sharks Class.

Be safe, be kind, be happy,

Miss Darby and Mrs Austin
