Week Beginning 20th April
Hello Sharks Class!
Having enjoyed your Easter break, many of you have got back to the new term with enthusiasm! We hope you are enjoying the Anglo-Saxon and Vikings topic, and the new science topic too. As ever, there are a selection of pictures below so that you can all see what your classmates are up to. Do keep the emails coming to let us know how you're getting on and with photos too if you can.
Jacob has written a letter to the school which is attached below. He's also been taking plenty of exercise and doing plenty of cooking, as have Kian and Paddy. See pictures of Kian's impressive Victoria sponge and Paddy's delicious biscuits! George has been climbing trees again! He has sent in a picture of the wind vane that he created, with two super gorgeous dogs in shot! He also laid his timeline out on a long piece of paper which was a great idea. Miss Darby got to see Ellis over the Easter holidays at school, as he is one of our key worker children. It was really fun catching up, doing Joe Wicks and playing tennis in the playground! Mollie has spent hours in the garden creating her very own den, using a wood burning pen for the sign. She's also carried out an experiment with bean seeds and made good use of her new electrical circuits science kit. Sophia has been working well at home, completing the work on the weekly activity grid. There are some pictures of her below 'conducting' this week's classical music piece, "Carnival of the Animals" as well as drawings of the animals. Keep busy everyone and be sure to enjoy the sunshine whilst it lasts, if you are able to.
Stay safe and stay happy,
Miss Darby and Mrs Austin
