Week 4
Our focus book this week has been 'If I Built a Car' by Chris Van Dusen. The children enjoyed listening to the story and thinking about how they could design their own car, then thought about what it would look like and what materials would they use to make it. they came up with some very intresting and colourful designs.
In maths we have been recapping upon 'estimation' and how we must try to have a 'good guess', it doesn't matter if we don't guess the exact amount. We have also been practising number formation, remembering where each number begins, the direction we go and how they don't follow the same rules as our letter formation.
The Preschool children have been busy making paper plate cars, transport sorting activities and playing role play cars, taking turns to be the driver or a passenger.
