Storyteller 06.03.17
On Monday 6th March the Pre-school were very lucky to listen to Chris Connaughton tell us the Gingerbread Man story. Making animal noises and putting on character voices Chris brought the story to life. Encouraging the children to be the storyteller he paused at intervals allowing them to join in.
After reading the story Brown Bear the children retold the story using pictures. We used a 'Story Stick' and a 'Feeding Bear'. This activity helps the children to start being aware of the way stories are structured.
