Week 5
This week the Blossom class have been making the most of the glorious weather we have had by exploring our outdoor area, using spray bottles to make marks on the blackboard, building with duplo, cooking in the mud kitchen and zooming cars down the car ramp.
We have had a new topic book which has been 'Lucy and Tom At The Seaside'. To support this book the children have been taking about their favourite seaside experiences. Alongside talking about the seaside, the children have been creating their own postcards along with colouring in seaside pictures using a range of different medias. The children have loved having our sand castle tuff tray, cornflour tuff tray and large flower painting tuff tray.
We have been focusing on our number recognition by using the numbered duplo to match the correct numbers. Blossom children have also been learning their new sound of the week 'F'.
