Week Beginning 29th June

Dear Sharks Class,

This week you've all been keeping busy with marble runs, science experiments and reflecting on the year gone by in your literacy tasks. Remember, for those year 4 children who have not yet written down their favourite memories of their time at Winterbourne Valley, you can still do so! It would be lovely if some of you would like to read these out at the special year 4 leaver's assembly next Friday, but don't worry, if you would prefer not to, that's completely fine too! We've also been getting in some year 3 letters to tell the current year 2 children what to expect next year. Lorien took a photo of his, which you can see below.

Jacob has sent us a video of his poetry recital this week, with fantastic expression! Grace, Elsa and Sophia all had a go at plenty of the science experiments this week, and got some great photos too! Grace and Elsa have also shared a video of their fab marble run.  Here in school, the key worker children have also been having fun working on marble runs, using junk medelling. We've also been drawing cartoon characters and carrying out the science experiments from the Sharks home learning.

Sooo looking forward to having the year 4s back together again next Friday and really pleased that the government has announced the return of all pupils in September. We have missed you all!

Take Care and Be Happy,

Miss Darby and Mrs Austin
