RSPB Visit 05.05.17
On Wednesday two ladies from the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) came to Winterbourne! They told us how the RSPB started and how they protect the environment. We went out on to the field and were given a worksheet. It had 2 pages of mini-beasts, 1 page of flowers and 1 page of trees. We went on a hunt for things, once you start you don't want to stop! It was such fun and we all really enjoyed it, we learned lots of interesting things.
(By Jadan and Martha) Apologies that there are no photos of this day.
It was lovely at break time today (Friday) to see three of our Year 4 boys who are clearly very much enjoying reading! Well done Troy, Laurie and Joseph!
