'A small school with a big heart'

Week 7

Tag Rugby at St Osmunds!

8 of our Year 4 children went to St Osmund's to take part in a Rugby Morning on Thursday. They worked on their rugby skills and played a few games against children from other schools, which they really enjoyed. Mrs Hallett and Mrs Foot were very impressed with the great sportsmanship that they showed and their resilience, despite the wet weather conditions!

After some fantastic homework, researching Mary Anning, the children had a fantastic time having a go at being Paleontologists themselves! After making their own fossils using clay and plaster of Paris, the children used specialist equipment (spoons!) to excavate their creations.
