Week Beginning Monday 29th June

Hello Sharks!

Hopefully you've all enjoyed your weekend and have been out an about in beautiful Dorset. As we are sure that lots of you have been visiting the local beaches to enjoy the wonderful weather we've been having, we wanted to share with you some useful information that we've been sent from the RNLI. Due to the situation with Cornonavirus, there won't be so many lifeguards patrolling the beaches this summer. This means that we all have to be extra careful when it comes to staying safe in the sea. Have a look at the link below to find out what you and your family can do to stay safe when you're in the water https://rnli.org/youth-education/education-resources/water-safety-wednesdays .There are lots of great videos to watch and activities that you can download.

We had a few book recommendations from you last week but we need more to add to our list! If you've read a good book over the last few weeks then please send an email to us, letting us know the title and the author so we can add it to the 'Sharks Recommend' book list.

We hope you enjoy this week's Home Learning tasks, remember to make sure you are reading each day and practicing your timetables. Use TTRockstars and Mathletics to practice your maths skills and Reading Eggs Express to brush up on your reading comprehension techniques!

Take care and stay safe everyone,

Mrs Austin and Miss Darby
