25.6.18 Starting our sewing project

This week we started our sewing project, we are making purses.
We all had a go at threading our needles and we practised sewing on some binca. Once we were confident we practised on a scrap piece of fabric, which was a little trickier.
After our practise stitches is was time to choose our purse fabric. Using templates we made earlier we pinned and cut our fabric to the correct shape and size. We pinned the bottom of the fabric and used the running stitch we practised earlier to sew along the bottom of our purse.
