Week 2
This week in maths we have been working on our knowledge and understanding of numbers beyond 10. The children have been practising building numbers beyond 10 using lots of different resources such as Numicon & pegs, Multilink, 100 Squares, number lines & numeral cards. In our focus activity the children first made a tower of 10, then added on the number of extra bricks they needed to add when given a number up to 20. They have also been practising their number formation, where to start each numeral & the direction they must follow.
