Welcome to Beech Class!

It is lovely to have the children back looking so happy and well in their uniforms. We have spent the last couple of days getting to know each other and settling back into the routines and rhythms of school life.  The children have been amazing, getting to know where they sit, finding resources and learning about the expectations of a KS1 class. I have enjoyed starting to get to know the Year 1s and catching up with the Year 2s.

This year the children will be awarded Dojos (an online system) for showing our values and working hard. 5 Dojos will convert into a step up the ladder on our beech tree with 15 steps to reach the top to get their certificate and sticker. The children have had fun seeing what their Dojo monster looks like and collecting points for their behaviour and learning.
