Week 13 - Art
This week in art the children took their work up to the wildlife garden where they had to choose somewhere to sit and draw then paint. They could choose a 'landscape' scene, taking in the view, a closer perspective of the trees or they could do a botanical style illustration, close up of a plant. The children were brilliant, focusing for a long time, drawing what they could see and then using water colours to paint. The results were amazing.
In literacy the children have been working in pairs to write and produce a short story. They have cooperated really well, despite the heat and we have some super books that have been created.
