In the Starfish class this week, the children have been digging for fossils in the sand using tools and magnifying glasses, fossil collages using 2D shapes, fossil shapes using play dough and continued activities based upon dinosaurs.

In the outdoor area, the children used large chalk to draw dinosaur footprints and then used them for counting, scribing numbers and walking in the them like dinosaurs.

The children have had time to explore and play in the wildlife garden and take part in lots of outdoor games.

 

Please remember to apply sun cream to your child before they come to preschool and have a sunhat with them every day. Now that the weather is warmer and sunnier, the children do spend more time outdoors.
