Fine motor cereal threading 10.10.16
Developing children's fine physical skills the children threaded multi cheerio's onto skewers. We talked about the different coloured hoops and sorted them into bowls. We counted the hoops on the stick and looked at the pattern children made.
Learning to share and take turns we played the shopping list game, finding the food on our list and putting it in the trolley.
At circle time we read the Hungry Caterpillar book and used the props to retell the story.
Outside some children made a map by drawing on the playground with chalk to help them find the treasure.
