Week 2 - Maths & About Me
This week we have continued to learn about our family & ourselves in the Foundation Base. We have been looking at fiction & non-fiction books about the human body, drawing pictures of our families & talking about them, labelling the bones in our skeletons & different parts of our body, x-ray handprints & learning the Skeleton Dance song with some actions.
In maths we have learnt about numbers, counting & Numicon, singing number Nursery Rhymes, our Big Number song up to 10 with actions & lots of other number activities. We have also talked about height and compared ourselves to one another & then put the class in order according to height, from the tallest to the shortest. We also did this by drawing around ourselves & then looking to see who who was the tallest, shortest or about the same.
