Week 4

This week in PSED we having been thinking and learning about how to have a healthy mind, as well as a healthy body. We had lots of discussions about what our mind (The part of a person that thinks, reasons, feels, understands & remembers) is, what mental health is, what we can do to help our minds be healthy, what makes us feel good and what we can do to make our feelings good or better.
We looked at Harold the giraffe’s Wellbeing Wheel and talked about each wedge and the things that we could do to help us have a healthy mind. The children had some lovely ideas such as dance, swimming or gymnastic clubs, riding horses, going down the drop slide, having a go at sewing, climbing trees & helping others when they need us, to help or minds.
