Week 9

This week, the focus of our blog is on Art, Computing and History.

These subjects are taught on a rotation each Thursday, with the class split into three groups. Each group will work on a subject and then move to the next the following week.

The Art group was using clay this week. After studying pictures of medieval pottery and discussing its importance and use, the children made their own pots and cups.

In History, the children recapped their work for the coronation of King Charles III by discussing monarchy and its function in society. After completing our learning, the children finished by making crowns representing some of the functions of the monarchy.

The Computing group used Chrome Music Lab the create their own music with a focus on notes and tempo. The children shared their music and then made changes to their work.

Photos from this week show a sample of these groups.
