Week 6
To end our topic of the Seaside this week, we have learning about Pirates and celebrated the end of term with our Pirate Day. The children have had a fantastic day today & looked amazing in their Pirate outfits. They enjoyed lots of pirate themed activities and listened to many pirate stories throughout the day. They have walked the plank, completed a Treasure Hunt, hunted for buried treasure, fine motor activities with tweezers, coins, jems & jewellery, real & fake words, phonics Pirate games, Wanted poster writing, patterning in the Pirate pictures, painting a Pointillism Desert Island picture using cotton buds & paint. They sang their Sea Shanty song with the Preschool children, accompanied by the actions that we had chosen.
