Week 4
Beech Class have continued their work on Polar Regions. In Literacy, the children have been working on writing riddles and acrostic poems about the Polar Regions topic.
In maths we have been encouraging the children to learn creatively. Some of our blog photos from this week show children playing a board game where they had to answers maths questions to progress. Year 1 have worked on doubling numbers whilst Year 2 have been solving division problems.
In Art, Year 1 had a go at making igloos out of blocks. Meanwhile, Year 2 used clay to make models of a polar animal of their choice. Next week they will switch tasks. Photos of the Art lesson round off our blog for this week.
