We've had a great time throughout January finding out about electricity. The children have learned about electrical circuits and what happens if an open switch breaks this circuit. Your child should be able to tell you about different sources of electricity, what a conductor is and how to keep safe using this powerful force.

 

On a Thursday and Friday, we've also been learning about fractions, what it means when the denominator and the numerator are the same as each other and whether they would prefer to eat one third of a pizza or one fifth! All our talk of pizza whilst discussing fractions is making some of your children rather hungry.
