Week 8

I can't believe we're only in the second week of being back to school, having packed so much in already! We were all super proud of Sharks Class on Monday evening at the DASP concert at Thomas Hardye School. They sang their hearts out and sounded fantastic. Thank you to all the support given at home in encouraging that extra practise. World Book Day yesterday was a huge success with lots of fun and extra reading in class too. have a look through our photos below.

Today, the year 4 children went to Dorchester Middle School to do an orienteering activity with Mr Daily and pupils from Cerne Abbas. We hope to have sent them home for the weekend a little more tired than usual, as they did a huge amount of running! As well as being an enjoyable activity and learning some new skills, the children are now that little bit more familiar in the grounds of DMS which should stand them in good stead for those who will be going there in September. We were pleased that the rain kept away for us and hope it continues to stay away so that we can all enjoy getting out at the weekend!
