WEEK 8
This week our focus story has been 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. The children are learning all of the words, creating their own actions and using props to retell the story.
We have been writing about our visit to Lorton Meadows and remembering the lovely day that we had and the exciting activities that we took part in to learn more about minibeasts.
In maths we have been using ten frames to help us calculate our addition and subtraction number sentences up to 10 and then up to 20.
During our outdoor leaning session we practised our retelling of 'The Hungry Caterpillar' to the preschool children, went on a plant hunt and made lots of lovely minibeasts using clay and natural materials.
