Week Beginning 30th March
Hello Sharks Class!
After a second week of this new way of life, we hope you are all getting the hang of it! We are all having to adapt and we know, for most, it can be challenging at times. This is an historic moment that our children will look back on for many years to come and they will realise how unique this part of their childhood was. We all hope they can look back with fond memories.
It's so lovely to receive pictures of what Sharks Class have been getting up to. We have added a selection below. Benjamin, Elsa and Grace have both been busy with 3D shapes, using sticks and marshmallows to create cubes, pyramids and more. Isabella and her siblings had their very own Mother's Day service at home and have made some really colourful Easter egg craft too. Daisy has gone Powerpoint crazy, whist learning lots of science. We have posted one of her Powerpoints at the bottom of this page, and apparently there's another in the making! Sophia and Mollie have created fantastic weather vanes and George has impressed (and slightly scared) Miss Darby and Mrs Austin with his tree climbing skills! Molly and Robin have been out on their bikes enjoying the sunshine, whilst Lorien is keeping busy with Lego!
On top of all of that, plenty of you have managed to find time to tackle the home learning tasks provided. Remember, reading together is such an important part of learning and will nurture a life-long love of literature. Have a fantastic Easter Break and we will catch up with you all in a few weeks.
Take care, be kind, be happy,
Miss Darby and Mrs Austin
