France
This week the children have been fully engrossed in our topic 'France'.
We talked about the different modes of transport from England to France, then the children drew their chosen mode. We looked at the 'Tricolore' flag and used the three flag colours to paint our transport drawings.
We also looked at two vocabulary categories 'food' and 'colour', the children have been busy translating French-English and English-French words, using French dictionaries to help them.
The children had fun using playdough to make some food and then label them in French.
In ICT the children researched facts about France that included 'currency', 'capital city', 'population' and other interesting facts, and then recorded their findings.
