Week 9
This half term our topic focus is celebrations. This week the children enjoyed listening to a story about 'Bonfire night'. They were full of enthusiasm talking about their own personal experiences of watching fireworks etc. As a group the children were keen to collect sticks and leaves to create our very own bonfire. We talked to the children about the need to stay safe. Our role play corner has turned into a house with a cosy fire in which the children had fun creating with paint. The children are keen to use this area, making cups of tea and hot chocolate for each other! The children have been keen to get creative this week using glitter, glue and paint - making bonfire and firework pictures.
