Week 14

Welcome back to our final week of the Autumn term.

This week we have been getting excited for Christmas!

We have made our 2022 calendars, using the computer and a program called Paint.net. During our ICT lessons we have learnt how to copy and paste pictures and digitally alter them and add text. We used our new skills to create unique calendars. We really enjoyed making these.

We also made our Christmas cards [which look amazing] and we drew the front covers for the front of the order of service, for the Carol concert.

On Tuesday we were really lucky that the PTFA paid for us to go and see the pantomime ‘Aladdin’’ at Weymouth Pavilion.  It was lots of fun and we all had a great laugh, it was very funny! Thank you to the PTFA for allowing us to go!

On Wednesday we all tucked into our Christmas dinner, we made some festive hats for the occasion and listened to some Christmas songs.

On Thursday evening we performed our Carol service at Martinstown church. Although we were a bit nervous we loved performing to you all and we hope you enjoyed it.

Finally we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

See you back at school on Tuesday 7th January.
