Week 10

Over the week have been consolidating and revising our knowledge and skills with numbers and shapes. We sang the Big Number (numbers to 100 with actions) and 2D and 3D Shape Song, identified numerals, one more/less than, counting, recognition, comparing, grouping and sorting, identifying each of the shapes and their characteristics and then completed independent activities that helped use use our knowledge and understanding. The children recognised the following 2D shapes - circle, triangle, square, rectangular, semi-circle, oval, pentagon, hexagon, octagon & parallelogram and the 3D shapes - sphere, cube, cuboid, pyramid, cone, cylinder and prisms.
