This week in maths we are doing time with Miss Darby and we were solving problems about when films would start and end at the Plaza in Dorchester. With Mrs Austin the year fours have been learning the short division method (bus stop method )

On Friday in PE we had special guests from a kickboxing place. They were very nice and showed us how to do the jab punch correctly. We all enjoyed it and found it very entertaining.

On Thursday we painted crowns because we're going to have a picnic out on the school field next Friday in honour of the King’s coronation. We are going to have cake and squash. We have made Union flags to wave and will finish decorating our crowns next week. The also learned what a monarch is and what their job is and then made a collage picture of King Charles III for our whole school display in the hall.
