Week 2
This week we have continued our Marvellous Me topic & in literacy we have been reading the book 'Only One Me'. The children have been creating their own individual fish using creative materials to demonstrate that we are all different, but we can all help to make the World a better place in our own unique way. The children have also been drawing pictures of themselves & their family in their weekly literacy activity & labelling our class skeleton 'Funny Bones'.
In Expressive Art & Design, the children have been studying their faces & features in mirrors to begin their self-portraits to be displayed in our classroom. They have drawn their face & features, then used appropriate colour choices to paint their pictures.
