Week 6
This week in Sharks’ Class we have been continuing our perimeter and area maths’ lessons on a Thursday and Friday. Here’s a selection of some of the children who had great fun investigating perimeter with matchsticks. Other groups got their teeth into some super challenging investigations on area of compound rectilinear shapes! We also wrote some very imaginative stories about magical flying whales with exciting plots and based in an exotic variety of settings.
At the end of a busy week, it was time to try out our well deserved ice cream that we had made in our Design and Technology lesson the previous week. There was a general consensus that it was utterly delicious, in all three flavours!
