WELCOME TO THE BLOG!!!!

This week we have been learning about the book called Hortense and the Shadow by Natalia and Lauren O’Hara the crazy thing is that they are sisters! We made a summary for part of this book.

In maths we have been doing multiplication and division with Mrs Austin and with Miss Darby we are doing fractions. When the denominator is the same as the numerator the fraction is equal to one whole.

On Tuesday we did literacy with Mrs Austin and we acted out different fables like The Lion and the Mouse, The Grasshopper and the Ant and The Cockerel and the Fox.

On Thursday some of us did Woodland Schools while others were doing science with Miss Darby. In Woodland Schools we played games like Jenga and we did some woodwork.

In Friday’s PE session, we practised our football skills. We started with our partners and had to stay close to practise our dribbling skills. After that, we played some mini matches. It was really fun and we all got to improve our football skills.
