Well, here we are. Half term is already upon us. Beech Class has been a busy place this year, with plenty of learning going on and a new Teaching Assistant joining us. Mrs Green has settled in well and the children have warmed to her straight away. 

We have completed our work about Polar Regions and will begin a new topic after half term. Some children have brought in more work they have chosen to do at home, including more acrostic poems. It really is brilliant to have so many children inspired to do writing and bring it to school.

On Tuesday, it was Safer Internet Day. The children were involved in a class discussion about internet safety and for our blog this week we have some pictures to share of some of the children playing a game about staying safe online. We urge all parents and carers to continue to support their children with staying safe when using the internet. Year 2 homework this week involves reflecting on what children may know about internet safety.
