Week 9
We started our day with a whole school assembly and enjoyed seeing everyone in their costumes. We listened to a a familiar song, but the words had been changed for World Book Day and talked about how the children can use their book tokens. The children were split into their groups and moved around each classroom to listen to a story written by the author Oliver Jeffers and then an activity based on that book. Over the day the children made rockets, kites, decorated jumper pictures and made stars.
