Week 3 - RE
In RE the children listened to the story of Bilal & the Butterfly, then we discussed the story & what they thought the story is about. The children learnt that Muslims call their God Allah and believe Allah created beautiful butterflies and lots of other beautiful animals and places. Muslims believe they should praise Allah, for the beautiful world He has created. The children then shared with the class the things they think are beautiful and special. We then painted symmetrical butterflies to represent the one from the story & they are now displayed in our outdoor area.
