Mother's Day 20.03.17
To help children recognise and describe special times or events for family or friends the children made Mother's Day cards. Choosing the colours and using the bottom of bottles the children printed flowers. Finger prints in the middle of the flowers finished them off.
All the rain we have had has brought out the worms. Children have shown care, concern and interest in all the bugs/creatures we found. Later we pretended the pasta in the tuff tray was worms and investigated the texture.
Another rainy day we spent time playing and climbing in the tree.
