Week Beginning 4th January
Dear Sharks,
We are so sad that you are not able to be here with us at school at the moment but we hope that you will be able to continue with your learning at home, using the resources we will be sending.
From next week, your remote learning will be ready for you to access on a Monday morning, for the week. Unfortunately due to the short notice about school closure we have not had a chance to create a full planning grid of lessons for you this week. However, here are some activities and ideas based on what we would have been doing had you been here with us.
Literacy: Continue working on the poem My Shadow which we looked at on Monday. Have a go at performing it!
Numeracy: Continue looking at Equal Groups. Work through the power point and complete the activity.
There is also a fractions powerpoint for each year group which is a recap on last year's learning.
Spelling: You will find this week's spellings for your group. 5 of these are following the rule 'Adding suffixes ful, ment and ly' and the rest are from the Common Exception word list that you are working through.
Science: We are starting a topic on Light and Dark in science this term. Please follow the link to the first Oak National Academy instalment of these lessons

Detailed instructions for the tasks and the resources you will need are all listed below.
Take care everyone!
