Week 5
This week the children have enjoyed listening to the story 'Supertato'. The children were keen to make their very own 'supertatos' which look fantastic! For our maths activity this week the children have been counting out potatoes into numbered pots. The children were shown how to cut up potatoes safely using a small knife then count how many pieces they had. The children really enjoyed this activity and were very sensible when using the knife. Well done Starfish class! For our malleable materials activity, the children had a super time exploring the peas and jelly!
