Bonkers over conkers 26.09.16
This week the children have enjoyed opening the conker shells and seeing whats inside. We have compared sizes, big and little, counted how many were in the shell, talked about the smooth and shiny ones.
Encouraging mark making the children have been drawing and writing with their fingers, and using vehicles to make tyre tracks in the flour.
In the front playground the children spent a long time problem solving. Trying to put the waffle bricks together to make a cat home they worked together making all sorts of enclosures.
