Week 11
This week our topic book has been The Three Billy Goats Gruff. The children have been working hard to construct their very own bridges for the goats to cross using a range of objects such as building blocks, lolly sticks and stones. As well as this the children have enjoyed drawing their very own maps, explaining where the goats would go and what they my pass. The Blossom children have loved exploring the messy cornflour play this week, filling and pouring it into different containers.
On Thursday we had a lovely trip Thorncombe Woods, led by Mrs. Thompson. The children took part in lots of woodland activities such as hunting for coloured coins with their teams to help us explore the woods, fairy making, storytelling, den building and popcorn making which was delicious!
