Wk 11 Rainy Day Activities
A wet day beckoned so engaging activities were required. The 'vets' role play and a family of large dogs kept the children involved until the rain passed. Likewise 'tap a shape' allowed the children to use their gross and fine physical skills as well as identify shapes and colours. Using water colours the children also learnt how to clean their brush before using/mixing different colours to paint very detailed pictures.
Sunshine reappeared enabling us to go on a bug hunt. The children enjoyed searching for mini beasts and ticking the boxes on the sheets when they found one.
