The children have all settled beautifully in their new class this week & have explored lots of activities in each of the areas of learning & development within the the Early Years Foundation Stage. We have spent time learning the daily routines in the Cherry Class such as our Welcome Song, Daily Calendar, Daily Timeline, Class Rules & the School Christian Values. The children have taken part in activities both indoors & outdoors throughout the week & began their Woodland School session on Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Thompson & PE lessons with Mrs. MacSwiney on Wednesday & Friday morning.
Our topic for the first few weeks will be Marvellous Me & many of the activities this week have been based on learning about our bodies, ourselves, our families & friends.
