Blog - week 1 - Spring Term

 

This week is the first week back after Christmas and is a new year, so Happy New Year! As we all probably know, we have gone into lockdown. Some children have come into school as their parents are key workers.

 

In literacy we looked at the poem My Shadow by Robert Louis Stevenson. On Tuesday it was the first day of key workers and we split into groups to perfom the poem to each other. Please click on to the video resource centre to see our performances.

 

In maths we have been doing division and timetables with Mrs Austin. Year 3 have been working on 5s 10s and 2s Year 4 have been working on 8s and 9s.

In maths with Mrs Darby we have been doing fractions.

 

In PE with Mrs Moore we will be doing rugby on Wednesday and on Friday we are doing gymnastics. If you are a keyworker child in on PE days, please make sure you have lots of layers as we will be outside when possible!
